The Manx Motorcycle Manufacturing Co Ltd, due to persistent demand from European and Worldwide sources, have made the Summerfield Short Stroke Manx engines available for general sale.  The engines have set the standard by which others are compared.

Over the past years these engines have proved to be the most powerful and reliable 2 valve Manx engines ever produced.  With well in excess of 7,000 racing miles recorded, engine performance and reliability have been remarkable.   For example, not one single big end failure or replacement in all those miles.

The engines are built in house at Summerfield's factory, incorporating all the performance enhancing features thoroughly developed and forcefully demonstrated over the past seasons results, further emphasising that Summerfield Manx Nortons are the most consistently successful Manxes in the world of classic motorcycle racing.
